Gretchen is a North Carolina native who studied marketing, psychology, and business administration at Catawba Valley Community College in Hickory, where she also built her customer service and management skills. After experiencing all three regions of North Carolina, she settled in the Triad in 1999 and launched her commercial construction career with Shelco Inc.

Gretchen brings more than 25 years of commercial construction experience to the team, including 18 years in project management, estimating, and accounting, and 8 years in property management and leasing. She has held a North Carolina Public Notary commission since 2001 and a North Carolina Real Estate License since 2019, giving her a well rounded foundation across the construction, legal, and property sides of the business.

Outside of work, Gretchen enjoys making memories with her family, cheering on ECU Pirates football, listening to music, and spoiling her Maltipoo, Sandler. Her greatest accomplishment is her son Gavin, currently attending East Carolina University on his way to becoming a school based therapist.
